Shipping Guidelines
We usually ship using USPS in the United States only, as we find it both reliable and cost-effective for our customers. Sometimes we ship using UPS or Fedex as well. Unfortunately, we cannot ship to PO Box addresses or APO/FPO addresses. We will charge your credit card for the original S&H fees and additional fees if a package is returned as undeliverable (except in cases where we or the shipping company are at fault).
Shipping companies may impose a charge for each incorrect or incomplete delivery address. It is your responsibility to ensure that you enter your shipping address correctly. If a shipping company imposes an address-related surcharge for your shipment, we will directly bill your credit card for the charges.
Additional charges may be assessed in the case of change of address, incomplete address information, and change of delivery method. For any additional costs related to the delivery of the package, your credit card will be charged directly.
Shipping companies may require a signature even if we don’t ask for one. If this concerns you, you may want to provide a shipping address that you know is attended during normal business hours. We cannot place special instructions for the delivery driver on the package.
Because Metal Imagination is located in Massachusetts, any products shipping in the state are subject to sales tax.
Free Shipping On Orders Of $100 Or More
We are excited to offer our customers free shipping within the lower 48 US states on any orders totaling $100 or more.
International Shipping
Unfortunately at this time we do not ship outside of the United States. If you live outside of the United States the only thing we can do, is ship it to an address in the U.S. and you may have it forwarded on to where you would like it delivered.
Damage During Shipping
Occasionally, the shipping process may result in damage to a purchased item. If this happens to your order, please contact us immediately at info@metalimagination.com. You will need to include the following information in your email: your contact information, item number, and description of the damage the item sustained. We will replace the item or damaged piece and we will pay the new shipping charges. You may receive a return label along with the replacement item in order to return the damaged item to us.
Return Policy
Requests for returns are granted as long as the item is in new, re-sellable condition. Return requests must be initiated within thirty days of purchase by providing us with customer contact information, item number, and a detailed reason for the return request.
Once your return is received and inspected, your refund will be processed. Within ten business days, a credit will automatically be applied back to the customer using the same method originally used by the customer (e.g. credit card, paypal, etc), minus the charge for shipping. If you received free shipping, we will subtract our standard shipping charges from your credit.
When shipping a product back for a refund, be sure to get tracking information for your package, since you are responsible until we receive the goods. Products that have been personalized or engraved are not eligible for return. We reserve the right to deny any return if we determine that our return policy is being abused.
